Arora Group appoints New Director of Spa & Wellness

Renowned spa and wellness expert Lisa Barden has been appointed Group Director of Spa & Wellness for Arora Group’s growing portfolio of hotel spas, with a remit that includes leading the spa project for the group’s new luxury hotel in Windsor.

Lisa is currently Chair of the UK Spa Association (UKSA), a World Spa and Wellness Awards judge, and has over 20 years’ experience working in various developmental positions with some of the industry’s biggest spa brands and resorts, including Wentworth Club and Spa, Grayshott Spa in Surrey, Champneys and ESPA. She is also a Reiki Master Teacher Practitioner and a Holistic Beauty Therapist.

Lisa’s first major project in her new position will be to guide the vision for the new state-of-the-art, 2,100msq luxury spa, wellness and aesthetics space due to open in Arora Group’s new Luxury Country Hotel in Windsor.

Lisa commented: “I am delighted to be taking on the role of Group Director of Spa & Wellness for Arora Group. The spa and wellness offer at the new luxury Windsor hotel will be game changing. Our objective is to create a space which allows for the delivery of unparalleled levels of service through the creation of transformational experiences for our guests and visitors, whilst ensuring our teams are as happy and healthy as we can.”

The spa, wellness and aesthetics space will include 18 treatments rooms, a traditional Moroccan Hammam, a Himalayan salt room, a cryotherapy chamber, outdoor courtyard hydrotherapy and fire pit, plus a VIP spa suite with Rasul mud chamber, hot tub, private changing room and dining area.

It also features a spin studio, hot and aerial yoga suite, a state-of-the-art gym, a 15-metre lap pool, jacuzzi, thermal suite, sauna, steam and ice showers. The space will also house five aesthetics rooms, a GP clinic, a beauty, hairdressing and barbering suite, a nail salon, yoga and dance studios, and a wellness café.
